The Model 215 Current Monitor
is specifically designed to interface with the NYSDOT 330 cabinet. The unit provides 16
channels of monitoring for up to 16 load switches, sensing low current conditions. The
unit will report a 300 milliamp or less for 1.6 seconds or more as a failed state. Any
indicator failure status LED shall be retained during a power outage for not less than
eight hours and the indicators shall be lighted with the same failed status as before the
outage. Upon determination of a failed state the unit shall cause the intersection cabinet
to be placed in flash operation, and stop timing shall be applied to the controller. A
power outage shall not re-set this state. A reset button is supplied on the front panel to
allow manual reset on site. A programming card is supplied with each unit to assign active
phases. This programming is removable from the unit and once programmed it can remain at the
site and be transferred to any other 215 current monitor.
