The ITS cabinet system is a versatile, modular design for component interchangeability and providing for ITS applications. All subassemblies are mounted in a removable 19" EIA rack for ease of maintenance and are fully interchangeable between ITS cabinets. The Type 2 cabinet meets the CALTRANS 336 shell requirements. It is a double door (1-front and 1-back) design that allows maximum access to internal components. This Type 2 cabinet provides traffic control operation for up to 14 phases and 24 inputs in either a parallel or serial operation. Lightning protection and removable terminals are provided for inputs and outputs. Either the 170, 2070, or ATC controller can be used in this cabinet. The Type 2 cabinet provides a moderate amount of space with a small foot print with an overall height of 46". The ITS cabinet has been designed to the NEMA 3R rating and is a rugged, durable, weather proof design. |
