The Type 3 cabinet is a quad door (2-front and 2-back) design that allows maximum access to internal components. This Type 3 cabinet provides traffic control operation for up to 20 phases and 96 inputs in either a parallel or serial operation. Lightning protection and removable terminals are provided for inputs and outputs. Either the 170, 2070 or ATC controller can be used in this cabinet. The Type 3 cabinet provides a large amount of space with a "P" like foot print with an overall height of 66". This cabinet will easily house auxiliary equipment such as UPS systems, radio and fiber communications devices, and video imaging equipment all in one cabinet. The ITS cabinet has been designed to the NEMA 3R rating and is a rugged, durable, weather proof design.
